The story of YES
At the heart of innovation and collaboration, the Young Entrepreneur Society is more than just a group – we are currently a vibrant community of 30 aspiring and thriving business minds. Our mission is simple: to learn, connect, and grow together through a shared passion for entrepreneurship.
YES was founded in January 2023 by Laura Nieboer and Natalia Westermann. The idea of YES was born on a late summer evening on a crooked couch at Landbouwbelang as they were discussing the fact that they wanted more connection with other young entrepreneurs. As true entrepreneurs they aspired to make this idea to become reality!

Inclusivity is our foundation – we embrace diversity and celebrate the uniqueness of every entrepreneur. Connection is the thread that weaves us together, creating a tapestry of shared experiences. Friendship is the glue that binds us beyond the business realm, fostering relationships that go beyond professional collaborations.

Our group of entrepreneurs are operating in a variety of business sectors, with a mix of entrepreneurial experience.
A MIX OF NATIONALITIES
The main nationality is Dutch, however we welcome every nationality! The main language at events and lectures is English. This way we ensure all entrepreneurs can join the meet-ups.
MAASTRICHT BASED
We are Maastricht based, with the occasional outing to other areas of South Limburg for events or business visits.
